Question regarding upgrades

The parts I ordered on Amazon just arrived and they are for upgrading Old Faithful after 10 years of having the same parts. 

It is about to have a change in Mobo, CPU, and RAM.

 

The PC itself came with an ATI Radeon XPRESS 200X GPU and I am wondering if there is a point in keeping it?
The CPU I am going to put it in is an AMD Sempron 2650. This APU will suffice I know, but will putting that GPU in do anything?
