So I recently installed a Hyper 212 evo and when I bought my build back together the lan driver is not being found. The driver is not there and when I try to install the driver it says it cannot be found. (Deep Sleep issue). Device manager picks up nothing and the only way I can use the internet on this build is by using a usb network adapter. I completely rebuilt the machine hoping that would resolve the issue to no avail. I am not against reformatting since I have everything backed up so unsure if that will even fix it.

Build:

asus m5a99fx pro r2.0

1tb hdd 240ssd

8gb ram

evga 970

tt 750 psu

 and a sad face at the moment

Any ideas would be more than appreciated.

errr...

did you try to check the bios configuration?

good start would be reset to default and if not working, clear CMOS.

you can try to boot on a linux live CD to see if it picks up your lan.

let me know the results

If you use the Linux option as Mesiah says it will basically let you know if the LAN works. If it does not work in Linux then it is probably toast. This is a lot more common than many think. Resetting the bios as well is a good idea.

                  Did I help you to fix your problem or at least did offer somewhat valuable advice? Consider giving my post a "informative" or "thumbs up".
