I am planning to mod my case, here is the plan-

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B46XJQ6/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-5&pf_rd_r=0GN8EWDPPDER7D6GZGS4&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470939031&pf_rd_i=507846-for the white and green color scheme and neater interior

http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Tek-Extension-Connector-PP07-IDE6W/dp/B00B46XJRK/ref=pd_bxgy_pc_img_y-same as above

http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Tek-Extension-Connector-PP07-EPS8W/dp/B00B46XKK6/ref=pd_bxgy_pc_img_z-same as above

http://www.amazon.com/Cast-Acrylic-Sheet-Thick-Thickness/dp/B006FLY9YG- one clear for a window and one black for a psu cover

http://www.mnpctech.com/UChannel.html-for the edges

http://www.mnpctech.com/scotch_4010_tape_of_the_casemod_gods.html- to hold on the window

http://www.mnpctech.com/Black_Vinyl_Film.html-to cover colors i dont want, optical drive back and some of the hard drive's top, top of the cpu cooler(if that's ok)

http://www.mnpctech.com/Computer_Fan_Grills_Laser_PC_Fan_Grills.html-black hc grill x2 one for window and one for the psu cover for the fan in my case bottom

Now here are some pics, also I have not done any mods before. even though i'm only 16, I have tons of experience with tools and currently work in a custom furniture shop, so I expect that if I take my time everything will turn out great.post-14337-0-57379700-1374512804_thumb.j You can see my cable management needs some work, the problem is the 8 pin is too short, another reason to get the extension

post-14337-0-95752700-1374513140_thumb.j You can see where i will put the vinyl film on the back of the optical drive, and the front of the cpu cooler.

post-14337-0-48166100-1374513227_thumb.j Where the white extension will be, color showing.

post-14337-0-09310400-1374513296_thumb.j The short 8 pin, this will have a white sleeved extension.

post-14337-0-30154600-1374513375_thumb.j There is normally a black fan on the back of the cooler. This is a over all shot of the interior, you can see the white and green fans that i'm trying to match with.

post-14337-0-53236300-1374513465_thumb.j The outline of how i would like the window to look.

Now if there is anything that wont work or anything that you might do differently please let me know. and sorry about the poor lighting, once the mod is done I will do some high quality shots.

Set the window in from the panel a little bit, and make a bezel to cover the sharp edges/indent.

Wow, thanks for the quick response. That's a good idea.

Yeah, some cases that come with windows have it that way, bezel blends it well, and it makes putting the window in much easier.

Hey, what if I were to put some of this on the plastic shroud of the graphics card? I think it would look nice with the white cable sleeve. http://www.amazon.com/3M-Scotchprint-Carbon-Fiber-Vinyl/dp/B005989U2W/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1374524855&sr=8-12&keywords=3m+vinyl+wrap

this is what i would do if i was you:

1.Sleeved cables (extensions or do them yourself)

2.Window! use some u-channel mould to cover up rough cuts! also make use of a metal file! your not going to get the cut prefect straight away

3.shorten the hdd rack! i see one hdd, maybe but it down to 3 or 4

4. make a basement cover, to hide psu cables and hdd tower,

5. Get a aio cooler! like a h80 or h100. real cheap refurbs floating about

6. stealth your optical drive, wrap in vinyl or similar. or remove depending on usage

Just a couple relatively low cost things :D

Dude thanks!  How much would the temps change If I got a h100 or h80? ( I run a 4770k at 46c average) Is there risk of them leaking? Or Should I buy a cooler master v6? Sorry for the bombardment of questions.

I personally havent ran a h100 on a 4770k but i can say other people have seen average idle temps between 25-30c and max temps averaging 48c. So yes it will bring it down but also more likely to be quiter as you can turn the fans down when not doing anything cpu intensive.

There isnt a risk of them leaking but on the odd chance they do, as long as its not been tampered with i believe corsair do give some compensation. Ive only ever seen one leak from them and the guy got a new h100, new gpu and a free ssd. So you can sort of say its a win win. But leaks arent a common occurence.

Not only will the liquid cooler bring down temps and be quieter but it will look 100 times better! just makes the build look cleaner! Also if you dont like the corsair aio's then go for a nzxt or coolermaster ones! also pretty cool.

Also if you were o/cing id say you could get a easy 4.5ghz overclock without overheating

Sweet, I think that will be next on things to save up for :D and thanks for all of the answers, no one else has been as helpful.
