We had power cut off last night a few times due to a storm. When I got up this morning my PC was off, I started using it for maybe 1 hour before it froze to where I could not do anything but hard reset. This has happened 2 more times. Event logs show event ID 263 and 264. I removed my gpu (660 ti) and it has been running fine for about 2 hours. Is it likely that something is wrong with my gpu or would it be something else?

**Edit** I have multiple boot drives and have tested to see if it was a software issue and it is not. I have ruled that out of the possibilities. All drivers are up to date as well.

run a chkdsk /f as admin and reboot

you could also try a system restore

do you have Duel Operating systems in your PC?

(probably should've included that in the post)

does it throw any other Event Error other than the other two mention when is crashes with the 660 in it.

whenever i've had this problem it was just driver weirdness

I would put the card back in and try running safe mode with networking and see if it crashes

Those are the only event errors.
