Here's a couple of things to consider. First, Final Cut Pro is a Mac only program. Second, if you plan on building a PC and installing a Mac OS (Hackintosh) You need to pay VERY close attention to your choice of hardware (motherboard, gpu, ram, drives, etc.) there are sites dedicated to the building of those systems.

There are several good and in some cases, better alternatives to Final Cut. You mentioned Adobe CS6, now there's Adobe CC. It is Just as good as if not better than Final Cut (more users + cross platform = better job opportunities) On the professional end you have Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve, both are heaps better than FCP. 85-90 percent of the film and news industry uses these, while television and web are dominated by Adobe and Final Cut.

Will this system be for getting through school, or does it need to be able to carry you into a professional gig eventually? Remember, what you build today is obsolete tomorrow... sort of.  A build that has the legs to stretch out its usefulness 2 gens is ideal for most. I got in on the tail end of the 2011 socket and it will carry me over, pass 2011v3 to the next generation.(fingers crossed on that one)

I always do lots of research before I buy, it has saved my ass more than once. Just some things to think about before you throw down some cash.  You're on the right track though, asking questions, looking at reviews and checking blogs is free.

Peace.
