I went out tonight, and while working on a one of my computers I put it to lock so I could come back to it later when I got home. When I got back, I was promptly slapped in the face by a blue screen and then the system shut off. It said something about my PSU having an issue. It is a pre built system.

"Asus Essentio CM6830"

My system:

Windows 7 (x64)

i52320

8GB ddr4 memory (upgraded from 6)

GT 530

PSU: 350 Watt "peak"

Any other info Ive left out let me know and I can supply it.

Thanks!

Yeah, works fine. It has happened once before though, so im just wondering if a replacement PSU would be an option.

It could be an option, but bluescreens are kind of just a normal occurrence for PC's that haven't been restarted recently so yeah.

Ooooh....PSUs on pre-builts.... not pretty. Then again not worth it for just a pre-built.

If this is only the second time and you can't reproduce the bluescreen I wouldn't sweat it. If it happens again, try to remember what you did leading up to the incident. Things like: opened any demanding programs or games, temps got high, etc.

I don't do signatures.

Download and install BlueScreenView.

So long as you haven't run anything like CCleaner all the info will be there.
