Hi comunity

I am having an issue with booting up my system, half the time the system boots up fine and the other half it will just stop at the windows boot screen.  This has only started happening since I upgraded my drives to a RAID 0 configuration using the normal, setting RAID in the BIOS and,  Ctrl-I for intel’s rabid storage using the on-board RAID with the Maximus VII Hero.  I did nothing extreme after that, just a fresh install of windows 8.1.  the two SSD's are the 250GB samsung 850 evo's but because I am in a RAID configuration Samsung magician software won’t detect the drives to update the firmware but not sure if that will even help.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

Thank you in advance
