so i'm doing a build in about a week and im upgrading my card. im planning on doing 980ti sli. overkill i know but i feel like it.

anyway for right now im only buying one and wondering which config should i do it right now.

i could buy a 980ti now and then add the waterblock when i get my next 980ti 

or

i could buy a 980ti with a waterblock and then add another one later on.

 

i dont know how to make a poll so... yeah

It's a pain to add a new card into an existing loop, so I would suggest waiting until you have both before putting them in a loop.

 

Also, please tell me this is for more than 1080p

it is its for 5760 x 1200 my current cards run at the resolutions on like low settings for most games to get like 40-70 fps

if you run them in parallel it's not all that hard because all you have to do is drain the loop and add 2 more tubes, but be careful in your single-GPU setup to have both tubes on the side facing away from where the other card will go, otherwise you'll have to reorganize tubing and the ease of parallel is kinda ruined.
