printing from afar

hello,

my dad has a little crazy idea and I want to know if it's possible:

he wants to connect a printer to the internet in one location and send the command from another place (the printer is at work, my dad is home, he tells the computer to print a document, and the document is printed at work); is it possible? preferably without another computer at the printer end?
