Hey guys,

I'm just wondering something. The GeForce GTX 770 requires a minimum PSU of 600W or greater so would a 600W PSU suffice...or greater?

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

not all 600w PSU's are created equal though. Make sure to look at total watts on the 12v rail(they should be very close to the max 600w) also make sure to look at the amps. Most 770's require a min of 42 amps on the 12v rail. Also really when they say all of this its based off of total system usage.

Although its not recommended, i ran two 770's in SLI using a HX650 for a month and it was perfectly fine, so for one 770 your good.

BRAIN: intel i5 4670k @ 4.0 ghz stock voltage. GPU: ZOTAC GTX 770*2, both @ 1300mhz core 7900mhz memory. 
CASE: custom painted Fractal Design R4.        SSD: Samsung 128GB 840 pro.    STORAGE: 2TB WD NAS.                 MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE z87x-ud3h
PSU: Corsair 760.    LIGHTS: NZXT hue.          FANS: 4 NZXT rifle bearing.          RAM: 2*4GB patriot black mamba.    CPU COOLER: Noctua NH C12P with NZXT 140mm fan.

If your thinking of going Two 770's in SLI in the future, would recommend at least 800w minimum, but you might get away with 700w.
