So I had to reinstall Windows on my SSD because my PC was being an ass. My copy of GTA is on a separate hard drive so I didn't worry. I live in Australia so the download speeds suck like fuck. When I open GTA it tries to re download. All 60 gig of those files are on the hard drive and it wants to re download it. Any ideas? I almost died when I saw that because not only does it not make my internet usable but it takes days. Literal days. Any help is much appreciated.

Not that I can see. Where do you find that?

I'm at work right now so can't check for myself but IIRC the button is called "Verify integrity of game cache" or something like that. Right click on GTA in steam and look.

Assuming you're using steam.

Have you tried setting the install location to where it has already been installed?
