Hi everyone,

Im trying to overclock my 3570k to a stable 4,5Ghz. I used the intel stress test to find the voltage and it crashed at 1.265 volts but was ok at 1.270. I bumped the voltage to 1.275 to make sure its stable since it didnt affect the temps. I have the load-line calibration set to 4 (ultra high), power phase control at extreme and cpu current capability set to 130%.

Then I left the pc to run Prime95 (custom test, FFT size 8-4096, memory to use 4700) for about 6 hours and when I came back it was ruuning but the screen was frozen, my h100i was pushing hot air out of the case so I think it was running the stress test still. Temps were around 70 degrees celsius when I saw the prime95 test running.

So any ideas what to do with it and why it froze but was still running? Should I try the test again or maybe tweak something to make it 100% stable?

Oh and here are my system specs:
Intel I5 3570K

Corsair H100i cpu cooler

Asus p8z77-v pro motherboard

Corsair HX650 psu

Kingston HyperX predator 2400mhz 8gb kit ram

Asus gtx 660ti gpu
