need help picking a laptop

hello, i am trying to find a laptop that performs well. it will be used for school, internet browsing, maybe some light video editing, and light gaming (G-mod, CS-GO) portability is important. my budget is 600-700$ if that is at all possible. please help, thank you

Don't worry about the "feel" of the laptop, as long as the performance-per-dollar is ok. You'll be much happier buying a seperate keyboard and mouse (and maybe screen) and just using the laptop as a powerhouse for your needs

I would that the Lenovo above won't disapoint. But for the money he actually has, futureproofing for just a couple more years is worth the extra 150 $

 

It is just plain better at gaming than other pc's in the pricerange, but he could game better for the money he arlready has to spend
