democracy3, gray bars

to start: if you don't have democracy 3, then this post is probably not even worth reading.

I asked on the democracy forums and 2 other game forums and I got no answer I also asked my friends if they have democracy 3,but they didn't. So I decided to ask here.

I get this gray bars, can anyone explain what they mean:

Maybe some files are corrupt? Try instaling the latest version of the game, or reinstalling it entirley.

Is it torrented or bought?

my friend said he bought it and brought me a CD to try it. What means torrentend btw?

If he got you a legal copy of the game, it is not torrented.

Maybe just reinstall, or check for any noticable blemishes on the disk,

I don't know what kind of copy it is, I just gave it to my friend and he installed it. I will ask him if it is a legal copy or not.

no it wasn't a legal copy, so I decided to delete the whole corrupted game, and I said him to never give me illegal copies again.
