Does it get sufficient power?

If by noise you mean the clicking noise it does when it switches between headphones and any other output than its normal.

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?

Do you use Normal gain, High gain or Extra high gain?

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K 4,6GHZ OC MB: MSI Mpower z77  RAM: Kingston Genesis 1600Mhz CL9 16GB

GPU: ASUS R9 290 Direct CUII  PSU: Corsair AX 860

It has enough power ( 550w psu , psu need about 400 on paper )

not the clicking noise from the card

I did reinstall the driver

I use normal gain ( 0 to 64 ohms )

Like a buzzing or a clicking noise?  Or just static?  It might just be windows mixing windows sounds in with the game.  I was playing GTA IV today and every time the phone was about to ring in the game a loud buzzing noise would come through the game's audio output.  I closed foobar and the problem stopped.

"Pardon my French but this is just about the most ignorant blanket statement I've ever read. And though this is the internet, I'm not even exaggerating."

Will work for electronic components and parts
