New with SSD

Hello guys as i asked yesterday i was looking for the best option on 120gb SSD

So today im going to buy it, but idk whats first, 
im planning to do a clean windows instalation, but someone was telling me to update the firmware
This is my first SSD and im not pretty sure about what to do (n00b), 
Can anyone help me with this? thx and have a nice day!

whenever I install a new OS drive, I unplugg all the other drives, to make sure windows install only on the drive I want to. it is also not recommanded to full an SSD. I leave 20%(more or less) free space on my ssds. 

may your framerates be high and your temperatures be low. #pcmr

you can update the firmware after you have installed windows on the ssd too, and on some ssds you are going to be fine without updating the firmware
