Witcher III GPU requirements

Go to solution Solved by Mattrixx,

I used the check your gpu performance on the Nvidia website for Witcher 3 and it said that my GTX660 meets the minimum requirements but is below the recommended requirements.  It suggests getting a GTX 770 or higher.

Does this mean that the game will run like crap on my gpu?

No, just that you won't be able to play at whatever settings CDPR considers "recommended." You may even be able to get a solid 60fps if you turn down the right settings. If you only want 30fps, you could get a pretty good looking game going. Tip: just ignore all the post processing settings in the Witcher 3 to not waste performance.

it means you wont max it, not even close.  but unless CDPR were assholes about it you should still be able to keep a playable FPS assuming you keep your visual fidelity in check.

Dont get a gtx770, kepler cards under perform in witcher 3.

Gtx960 almost matches gtx780ti performance so that would be a better buy.
