What temps to you think at load should be the max for an overclock? My CPU is a i7-4790k. Right now im running 4.5GHz at 1.2v with these temps during an Aida 64 stress test:

As you can see my averages are about 70 degrees.

My question is, should I push my CPU more? Should I go further in my overclocking but have hotter temps?

on a 4790k you should be able to get about 4.6ghz on the same voltages

but what you should do is, make the base clock 105 mhz with the cpu multiplier at normal or auto, it makes ur core turbo upto 4.59 ghz which is great

Why on earth would he do a BCLK when he has a K series, you overclock via the unlocked multiplier, that's the hole point, and leave C states/adaptive voltage on so it's not running at your constant OC.

just incase he didnt know what to do with the adaptive voltages. i myself own a 4790k and know how to oc with the multiplier, others may not.
