OH NOES!

I spilled sugary coffee on a key board, cleaned it out, dried it out, after taking it apart, put it back together, and now only the 5,6 and like two or so other keys work now!

Any ideas as to why its happening and how to fix it?

Get a new one since it's some crappy keyboard anyway.

Unless you are an engineer there's really no way to fix it. Just replace it as it has shorted.

Well, I spotted some gunk in the middle of the two plastic trace sheets that form the keyboards gut.

IMA clean that. If it doesn't fix it, its going out.

There are what very clearly appears to be burn spots on it from shorting.

Ya, that's gunna mess with the flow pretty bad.

If it is for a laptop you can find a good replacement for 5-20 bucks off ebay that works just fine had to for my dad's HP laptop. If not you can get a mechanical or chiclet board for like 5-30 depending on preferences off amazon. The amazon basics is a pretty good cheap chiclet, the redragon backlighted one(mechanical+chiclet models), but the best cheap ones imo are logitechs.

She uses it on her laptop, but it was a wireless one.

It had little circular keys, it was pink, I regret spilling coffee on it. :C

She likes stuff like that, and she likes LEDs.
