Can my laptop's amd a8-6410 apu run civilization 5?

 

 

It's always going up to 50 percent by just webbrowsing, and I don't want to break it by running civ 5... =/

Yea you should be fine. Your notebook should be able to run it no problem. What web browser do you use?

Google chrome uses a lot of the CPU. Also your notebook might just be dirty and in need for a cleaning. Also you might want to check your thermal paste might be making your fans speed up.

Not really, it uses ram doesn't use a lot of cpu.

yeah a8 will be fine for civ 5 as long as you dont go max settings as that can be taxing on a lot of systems

I stopped using chrome and started using firefox because my CPU would stress when web browsing on chrome. A warning would always pop up. Just my experience with chrome.

I tried to play and it got really hot and I turned it off after about 30 minutes of use.. =/ 

 

What should I do?

It can run, but it just gets hot. =/
