My modem got problem?

My modem/router sometimes restart automatically ... 

My house modem is 2mbps, when i on youtube my games start to lag/300ms 

My shop modem is 1mbps, when i on youtube my game ping doesn't change

why is this happening?

Well my ISP is quite useless... I need to call them like 4-5 times then only they will come and fix it...coz last time my router got problem...

If I get a new router... Do I need to set it up?(like setting internet speed names and all those shet)
