Hi guys, what do you guys feel on using the build in mic on a webcam instead of a headset or stand alone mic?

I have done this before, and personally it was complete crap, I grabbed a headset and it was extremely different you could actually hear me with out fuzz and crackling, It is much better to grab a headset and even better if you buy a studio grade mic.

Yup I agree with L.E.D. Unless you buy a really high end webcam, the microphone is very likely to be crap.

$100 for a headset or $50 for a mic

pls don't call just headphones a headset.

ATH-AD700 is good for under $100 but it lacks bass. Modmic is about $30~
