Please don't go and buy a really good gaming rig with an Asrock board. Always go Gigabyte or Asus, with occasional MSI boards if you go high end.

If you want my attention, quote my post or I will not see it. I ignore builds that do not use PCPartPicker.

Erm why is that? (Sorry i noob at pc building  :( )

You chose i5-4690K, so I'd assume you want to overclock. Z97 motherboard is made for overclocking.

If in that case, what Z97 motherboard do you guys recommend?

Either Asus Z97I-PLUS or Gigabyte GA-Z97N-WIFI for around the same price.

If you don't plan on putting another 970 then Z97 PC Mate is nice.

But if you want to SLI in the future then GA Z97X SLI (GIGABYTE).

Oh I didn't see that  :P

I'd recommend MSI Z97I AC or GA Z97N WiFi (GIGABYTE).
