Help with "Please Wait" screen for windows 8.1

Hi guys,

 

My windows is stuck on please wait screen, how do I fix this?

 

Tried accessing window startup screen but no keys work!!

 

Also, my OS in installed in my ssd and my games in my hdd, so if i reinstall my OS will it affect my games in my hdd?

Reinstalling the OS might be going a little far, but if you're considering it as an option, the installation process shouldn't even scratch a bit off your HDD. If this is a desktop PC, I'd just pull out the SATA-cable from the HDD before doing so anyway. Better safe than sorry, right?
