What Brand of PSU is it?? I'm afraid if it's a junkpile PSU then you might be needing to get a better one.

I've not heard the greatest about the TR2 PSU's, ethier they do okay or are freaking terrible. however a friend of mine has a TR2 600w for her FX 8350 and GTX 960 build and it seems to do okay?.

However since you are spending 1000$ i wouldn't consider it trustworthy enough for such an investment.

i'll add a build for you in the meantime :) hold on.

*Facepalm*

I guess you want to go intel + nvidia since

1 People say go intel mostly for gaming CPU's

2 I've heard a lot of ruckus about Bad AMD Drivers and that going with Nvidia might just be a bit more....secure?.

sorry for not posting my build :") the 2 mentioned here seem to be pretty good and i wouldnt really disagree with them, basically for 1000$ yer good with just doing a good build around a i5 4460, GTX 970, decent H97/Z97 Board and a EVGA G2 750W.

I really wish they did a 60$-70$ 550W Version of the G2 750W. since 750W is a bit overkill for a single card setup, even for old energy eating beasts like the GTX 480.

Eh who knows.

From personal experience i found Nvidia drivers to be more reliable than amd ones, Even for my Very unreliable 590.

You know what you may as well go with the Keemo's build, but since you have the case you could proabably downgrade to a 1TB HDD and go past the case and then pick up a 300$ GTX 970 and you should just be fine

Sorry for me being a bit of an ass before...

Anyways, I recommend Keemos build, if you dont like the AMD gpu, switch it out for a 970 and a lower watt psu

It's fine! We have our times.

Is this good too? Tried a blue theme.
