Specs

120 GB ssd - Windows 8.1 64 bit

NVIDIA gtx 780 ti / nvidia 8600 gt

Gigabyte ud5 x79 MB

Intel i7 3960k

H100i

32 GB kingston ram

So i uploaded my bios from f12 to the new f13 beta since i was having troubles with my 780ti and startup - but now i cant boot at all - fans - coolers turn on for about 5 seconds - Then systems reboots for 5 sec - repeat

Nothing appears on my screen

Ive taking out all periphials and left only one ram stick in there - cleared cmos but still the same... I remember having troubles with my ROM had to be ser to legacy for MB to start with 780ti - so i tried with and old 8600gt i had but still the same :(

Is there anything at all i Can do ? :(

gigabyte boards have dual bios

reflash the backup bios

then go back to the gigabyte website and BE SURE you got the correct bios file and reflash the new one

Okay so i managed to get it started - and the new bios helped my problen with detecting my gtx 780 ti - but now the ram seems to be the problem...

I have 8 sticks with 32 gb in total... i have 16 installed right now (4 channels) - but as soon as i put in the last 4 sticks (8 channels) its goes into the boot cycle again, where i cant do anything !

i think maybe i had this problem back in the day where i bought an extra 16 gigs of ram - somewhere in bios there was a setting that may have fixed this (maybe im wrong it was a long time ago - maybe something with uefi - that all i can remember)

You guys have any idea how to get the last 16 gigs of ram to "work" ? :)
