Essential whats happening is that over an 8 - 10 hour period my computers performance degrades significantly and my RAM usage jumps to about 90% even though almost nothing is running. Also i looked through task manager and the amount of ram usage across all programs (yes i did the math) doesn't add up to 90% usage. On a side note i have 16GB of corsair vengeance DDR3 RAM (4x4). I f you could let me know what causes this or what i could do to fix it I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance :D

Need some qualitative description here. What is degrading in performance? General tasks, games, internet browsing, video editing, etc. ?

Sounds like the slowest memory leak in the world

I would start troubleshooting by booting into Safe mode w/out networking and seeing if you can replicate the problem. Might be a wise idea to print out or save a screenshot of all the programs running in both states. If a program is running while in the normal OS mode, but not in the safe mode, and you experience no problems while in safe mode -it will be one of the non-continuous programs probably causing the problem.

Also, all the programs listed will never add up to the amount of RAM in use, the OS uses ~1-2.5GB, so take that off the total in your calculation.
