GPU Performance

I just recently bought comp parts and built a comp for the first time and everything went well and is going well in most games accept Gmod. I get anywhere from 50-100 fps but i know it could be higher, im using gpu monitor from the windows 8 gadgets and I see that my card is only running at 500mhz when it can go upto 950mhz.. Use CPU_Z and GPU_Z instead of those gadgets. Screenshots would be massively helpful as well

I wouldnt trust a windows gadget. Use the amd catalyst control center monitor and see if your still seeing the same issue. Also if you only have one monitor and your minimizing the game to look at useage then your not going to ever see full utilization trying to look at it that way

If I run two monitors just to check properly, would the second monitor affect performance?
