Prime Video not working Chrome

Title says all. After clicking watch now I just end up on a "buffer"-esque screen forever.

 

Looking it up Amazon troubleshooting involves MS Silverlight however when right clicking on the player it only shows Flash. I have Silverlight installed.

 

 

Yes it works in another browser. FF. To those FF diehards, no I don't want to/plan to swap to FF.

totally uninstall chrome

reboot

search for any remaining files on the pc to do with chrome ...delete them

reboot again

reinstall newest chrome

 

also check background programs that could be interferring with the player

AV programs and firewalls...etc
