So I recently decided it would be fun to make a small server to host my website. Now granted, my website probably gets 1-2 views per day so I want to know if this server would even work.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor

MoBo: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

RAM:G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

PSU: EVGA 430W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

Test Bench (I thought it would be cooler to go caseless):DIYPC Alpha-DB6 ATX Test Bench Case

TOTAL COST: $320.93

Questions:

1. Would this support very little traffic, 1-2 people on at once?

2. How much of a benefit would it be to add say 8gb of ram?

3. Would an SSD improve the client receive times? I think the bottleneck would actually be my network.

4. Are there any changes you would make for speed without sacrificing that much cost?

Note: I know this isn't practical and that free web hosting would be much cheaper, however, this project is for fun.
