Should I go ahead and see how far my 4790k is willing to go with a Cryorig H5?

I don't really need to, but is anyone interested? I don't have an
SSD, so it would take me quite a bit with booting and all that.

Relevant stats:

Ambient Temp:10c

Idle temps: 25-30c

load temps:50c max on 1 core, lowest core was 43c

CPU:i7-4790k

Cooler:Croyrig H5

Case: 300r

Case Fans: Included 120mm intake at front, 120mm exhaust at back, cooler fan configured to grab intake air, push through heatsink, and then have exhaust fan pick up the air from there.

Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 7

Case Conditions: Inside a cabinet, open front end, crappy hole cut in back to let out air and a bunch of wires, right behind which is a wall.

Thoughts on whether I should go through the trouble or not, and thoughts on good starting points with voltage and clock speed?

Definitely try to oc. But I'm unfamiliar with your cooler so take to slow

Considering 15 YT videos going, alongside OCCT running, and CIV:BE going all while only using the iGPU, i'd have to say this cooler is badass.

Then why ask lol. OC that beast

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

You'll need to increase your input voltage along with core or you won't get anywhere fast. 1.85v-1.88v. LLC to medium.

I tried vcinn at 1.9 iirc with llc set to 75% (which resulted in a slight bit of overtvolt) and ring at 1.25v.

:(

was hoping you'd get a little further, although 4.6-4.7 is nothing to complain about :D
