I didn't know where to put this, so it's going here

I need to illuminate my backyard with some high power lights for night golf and parties and stuff

My backyard is 32ft x 56ft

I can put the light on the side of the house

Does anybody know where to buy flood lights and which ones would be good?

Not exactly sure if this is what you're after, but through our electric company, we had a light fixture installed, because we're in the country, so when it's dark, it's really dark. We paid for the installation, and pay $7 a month for it. It illuminates about 4 acres of our property, and costs us $7 a month. It only turns on from dusk to dawn.

Maybe try going through your electric company to see if they can install a light(s) for you? Unless you really want to buy your own. Then, I have no clue.

4 acres? damn

My backyard is only 1800 square feet, so I think just 1 or 2 smaller lights would work

Not sure about supplies where you are, but i not long ago got an LED SMD flood light for my drive, only 20Watts but very powerful!

See if you can get a SMD LED one, you will probably want a more powerful one, so look at 40Watts maybe.

just my 2cents!

-An old CPU heatsink

-An old PC PSU

-Boostconverter 150W+ from eBay ~10$

-100W led from eBay ~5$

-Some wires, thermal grease, drill, screws nuts, soldering iron and a DMM.

Attach the led to the cooler and run it at ~70w
