Try windowed borderless?

Also, there's probably some process that takes you to desktop.

Have you overclocked it? (the GPU)

I had this problem a long time ago and it was my GPU driver that crashed but I didn't notice since the little notification on the right side of the task bar (the one that says "Nvidia driver xxxxxx has crashed bla bla bla) didn't show up so I had no idea what it was.

Turned out I had overclocked to much and had to lower it!

Does the game crash when it happends? Or can you just open it up again and start playing?

What temps does your CPU and GPU have?

Considering YouTube fullscreen is a Borderless Window, that's not the issue...

Can it be that your keyboard is malfunctioning, pressing any key combination that closes fullscreen?

  • Alt+Enter
  • Alt+Escape
  • F11
  • Escape
  • Alt+Tab

Edit: seeing that image that I missed before this post, something is requesting a focus on your taskbar...

You'll need to find which program does it, or use Exclusive Fullscreen (something YouTube can't do, but Tomb Raider can)

you think it might have something to do with nvidia geforce experience trying to update or something?

Well.. I am not an expert in different processes but I can't really see a problem here, can you think of anything there that might interfere with your gaming? I mean like any automatic updates that are installing/downloading in the background?
