silent case questions

Hello I was wondering about the noise levels of the define s due to teh fact that im goign to live ina college dorm in august and really dont want to bug my room mate. im panning to rebuild my whole system for queiter operation this summer and if any other parts that you have used for thsi purose would be greatly taken in to concideration.

I heard they are pretty quiet, so you're fine. Unless you put a ton of fans in at high RPM.

A quiet case helps but a quiet case can't do magic you will need silent hardware aswell.

But the Define s is a whole bit less silent when compared to a R4/R5 since it's a cheaper case and is lacking some sound dampening features.

It's going to be the pc components that are the most contributing factor, quiet low rpm fans, psu and gpu fans that  only spin up when necessary heck you will probably annoy your room mate with your key strokes.
