Should I RMA

So, I`ve set up my kraken x41 correctly (3 pin fan pump in cpu 4 pin, internal usb in my motherboard and the 4pin fan in the 4 pin connector that came with the pump) The fan is running at MAX all the time and my kraken doesn`t show up in the CAM software. Should i RMA it or is it anything else I can do?

Bonus question, Do I have to us isopropyl alcohol to clean the CPU Heat spreader?

yeah isopropyl alcohol or anything like it, the fat is the problem, is needed. Why aren't you asking the OEM if the cooler has a problem ?

I RMAd my Corsair H100i and cleaned off the goop with a paper towel, but yes if the product is not working how you expect it too, and you believe it is not your fault, RMA it.

How to I check that?

Shouldn`t CAM find my kraken regardless?

A bazillion times, plugging, unplugging, testing every power connector everywhere.

Okay I was just checking in case you hadn't as after installing the Cam software he had to restart for his X61 to show up.

OEM?

Stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer in this case it would be NZXT.

sounds like a support ticket or contact to NZXT is needed. deffo a concern.
