Can't boot, HELP PLEASE!

So last night, Windows 8.1 gives me one of their fantastic annoying update pop ups, and I just install the important ones, I don't restart right away, shut it down before I go to bed, wake up, no boot.
When I boot, I get to the main screen, its pure black, cursor only shows up if the mouse is in motion, and every once in a while, the internet sign in the bottom left, flickers for a half a second. I can't boot into safe mode for some reason, or I'm not doing it right, shift f8 and f8 don't work. Anyone PLEASE HELP ME!

force a crash while booting and try to set it to last known good configuration or

think windows 8 still has that option

or google it dont think its ez to access anymore

Do you have a windows disc/USB around, if you do boot into that and try the system repair.

if u unplug ur pc while its booting it should force the repair option to open up

Making one right now, best bet atm, if that doesnt work, I'll just plug my hdd into another pc and manually delete the stuff from the update.
