What game should i get?

Hey

Im looking for a game that would be similar to Borderlands. I also like multi-player games like CoD.

I've played Fallout 3 but it kind of got boring after a little while, and so did Bioshock 1.

I prefer openworld games and it would be great if you could think of a game on sale on steam (summersale)

Thanks for the help.

Yeah, Saints Row: The Third may be your best bet if some of the best games ever made bore you.

Do you have Borderlands 2? I'm not sure what you can do for open world games that you haven't already ruled out. Skyrim is great with mods. Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box isn't a shooter but it's open world, has multiplayer and is the most fun I've had with a racing game. Dark Souls has multiplayer elements and is kind of open world. I'm just going to spitball some games, hopefully one sticks.

Just Cause 2 - open world single-player, cheap
Far Cry 3 - open world single-player, has multiplayer

Left 4 Dead 2 - has all of L4D1 content, you can add on community made campaigns from http://www.l4dmaps.com/l4d2/

Killing Floor - great multiplayer, choose character class, fight waves of infected for money, use money to buy weapons, survive

Blacklight Retribution - free to play, fast multiplayer like COD

TF2 - always a solid option even if it's also free

Counter Strike GO - solid multiplayer, modes like Arms Race are fast like COD

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - excellent multiplayer, decent single-player, there's a Vietnam expansion for multiplayer too

Maybe I shouldn't have said it bored me. It was a great game and I still play it but it got a little bit old.

Also I do have Borderlands 2 for Xbox and love it.

I also play l4d, gmod, and tf2.

So far I think Im going to look into Just Cause and Far Cry.
