Custom PC powers off on post screen

Go to solution Solved by JDregius,

Cooling loop leak and it could have shorted and this may mean that the board saves it self by not staying on???? Have heard of this before

I checked the loop can't see anything I have removed it entirely now and will be trying it with a h55 later. I also couldn't see any wet spots could it be temperature related if the loop got blocked?

SOLVED!!! pump broke, so no water flow led to it over heating and the mobo didnt like that one bit. thanks to Samsterstorm for the advice close enough to lead me to the problem

so last night my pc powered off while in use and i couldn't get it to restart it will power on briefly but then turn off when it gets to the post screen (where i can enter bios i think im calling it the right thing)
i have reset CMOS but im still getting the same i am unable to get into the bios as it powers off the moment it shows the post screen.

im really stuck on this i gave it an hour to cool down incase it was from overheating and tried again but same results im really not sure what else i have checked all the cabling and nothing looks wrong to me
if anyone knows where i should start looking it would be great
build is
AMD FX8370 @4.8Ghz

custom cooling loop

crosshair formula V
16 gb hyperx fury

4x120g ssd raid 0
asus gtx 770

corsair 860i

im going to go and borrow a spare cooler off a friend after work to eliminate the loop being the problem but outside of this im utterly bamboozled

any advice would be amazing
thanks
JD
