Looking for fan control software

Hi

I saw this thread and thought you can help me with a little problem in SpeedFan. Every time I try to start the program my PC crashes.. so I have to reboot. I have installed Asus AI Suite for fan control, but even if AI Suite (and its fan control) isn't installed it crashes every time i try to start SpeedFan.

Does someone have an idea what to do?  ;)

make sure your pc is stable before messing with fan speeds.

It's stable. SpeedFan is the only program on my PC that behaves like this.

ok, sorry to say sometimes speedfan doesn't like everyones motherboards. At least i have seen a few case where speedfan is being a jerk. Try straight up bios

I just downloaded the latest version of al suite 3 from Asus website. I was using the dvd that came with the mobo like a noob.. So far  so good with the updated version

sweet asus fan software i hear is good. So i hope it works out.
