I have a HP LaserJet 1018 and I'm running Kubuntu 15.04. The OS finds the printer, lists the proper state (disconnected if off, ready when on...). I've selected the recommended driver (Foomatic/foo2zjs - z1) that comes build-in Kubuntu but when I add anything to print it adds it to the print list, apparently successfully sends it to the printer but nothing happens. HPLIP is installed by default.
