Hey guys, for a while I was thinking about picking up Project Cars for PS4....that is, until I found out that my steering wheel, the Thustmaster Ferrari F430, is not compatible. This frustrates me to no end because these things are expensive as hell. So I guess my question is this, is there any way that they will expand the list of compatible wheels in the future through software or something of that nature? This game looks out of this world but I really don't want to play it with a controller, it needs to be played with a wheel. Anyway, thanks a lot!

Asking console companies to do something where they don't make tons of money.

HAHAHAHAHA.... Ooo good one

But you are really kind of screwed on that one unless it is a usb wheel and you are willing to spend some time mapping what the outputs are for the given inputs. And then coding that into a raspberry pi or arduino that would then go into the ps4 and maybe work, but you may have some latency problems.

Hi there. Move along, n0thing to see here.

hahaha shit.....what's the deal with that though? I'm so disappointed because Project Cars looks amazing. Why is it that these wheels don't work with the PS4??

Because Sony wants to sell you another 200-300 dollar racing wheel that only works on your ps4. And that is why most of this forum plays on PC because a racing wheel that worked 10 years ago will still work today.
