windows 7 pro validation

i bought a new motherboard and ssd drive for my pc so i had to reinstall windows 7 professional 64bit. i couldnt use my product key so i didnt bother activating. now a few weeks later a message poped up saying i have to validate windows. what do i do. is there a number i can use to call them or something?

Just activate it with your key. When it says it could not be activated online, it will have a number to call to activate.

 

Then, just tell them it's installed on one machine.

Yeah, just go to something like "activate windows by phone", call the number, enter the looooooonnnngg key it provides to you, you gotta wait for it to ask you for the next set before entering it. It's a little clumsy, but it only takes about 5 minutes to do so, its all automated.

There should be a number you can call. When i had to do this on Win8 i had to type a long ass number into my phone that was displayed on screen
