hey guys ive been experiencing some weird shit with my new pc.

the other day i was playing dota2 and my keyboard starting cutting out, then it wouldnt work at all, LEDS kept fading on and off and eventually i couldnt type at all. soon after it quit i then experienced a massive crash. i turned off the pc, made sure all my cables were seated correctly, powered back on again, went to login screen. i tried typing in my password, it maxed out characters in text field then pc shut off again. i waited awhile turned pc back on with no problem, logged in, ran antivirus scans, everything seemed to be fine. after this i played for almost two days with no problem then today while playing i ran into keyboard problem again. i tried dif keyboard and it didnt work either, my mouse works but no keyboard, and no crash this time. i dont think peripherals are the problem here, ive noticed a faint buzzing sort of noise and im 95% sure its my psu. i have a modular corsair CX600M psu. its 600 watts. this psu is supposed to be silent.

do you guys think my PSU is the problem here?

-i5 4690k cpu

-GTX 960 gpu

-8GB 1866mhz vengeance ram

-Gigabyte mATX z97mx mobo

-256gig SSD

im not overclocking or anything, just playing dota2. Ive only had this pc built for about a week. ive had hours of gameplay with no problem but ive ran into this keyboard problem twice now, first occurrence a massive crash was included. what do you guys think ?

It may be a bad USB port. Did you try on a different port? If your PSU was failing, you wouldn't find out via your keyboard...

its just a 70 dollar logitec backlit keyboard. i tried plugging in an old school dell keyboard and it didnt work either, i supposed its possible it too just does not work. im not sure. but im very suspicious about the buzzing sound i hear, i dont feel like thats normal. ill also add my cpu had been at safe temperatures. hasnt exceeded 47-50 degrees C.
