Early Acess - Questions

Hey Guys!

 

A time ago, Frozenbyte release Trine 3 on Early Acess on Steam. So, I was thinking about buying the Early Acess because i liked  a lot the first and second game and I want to help the developers. But, I don`t know how the Early Acess works. So, I have some questions.

 

1 - If I buy now, on the Early Acess, I will have to buy again when the game is finished?

2 - Aside being able to play the game earlier, the Early Acess have some others advantages (for example, receive a deluxe version when is finish, or the soundtrack of the game)?

1. You get the game for free when released.

2. Depends what the devs offer, there's no set feature that is offered for Early Access games, solely up to the devs.

When you buy a game in Early Access, it gives the developers more funds to play with, developing the game. And as a buyer, you will get to play alpha/beta builds of the said game. You own the game, regardless of the state it's in - and when it's finished, that's what you will have.

1. You will have game added to your library when its finished and released. Usually Early Access offers it bit cheaper than what full version would be.

2. That will depend per game. Its usually listed on store page what is included, like with pre-orders.

I personally won't buy this one in early access. I pre-ordered last one and tried the beta. But since I don't like to get spoiled on incomplete story, I'll just get full version (most likely deluxe) when its ready.
