I am planning on another mid tower build for heavy gaming. My budget is about $2500 AU.

I would be gaming at 1440p for now and moving to 4K later. Unfortunetly means i nead to get a 1440p monitor in the budget as well.

these are the parts I would want but could change:

CPU - Intel 4790k

GPU - Nvidia geforce gtx Titan X (may add a second in SLI later)

Monitor - Asus Predator xb270hu

Case - NZXT Noctis 450 Black and Red

The cpu needs an AIO Liquid cooler, but everything else on air (what case fans should i use)

I also plan to use two 1TB SSD's, NO HARD DRIVE!

So that's where im at. PLZ help

What about the other components?

Also, you only need ONE titan X for 4k.

I also dont know what other components to use, i was asking for suggestions

But how do you fit this in your budget? Even the original 4 components you chose barely fit in your budget...

I have a couple NZXT FN-120RB fans that I really like that in my system which uses about that much power, alot of quiet airflow. Anything Noctua is a great option. I would also grab an Intel or Samsung SSD, just about all of their current models are fantastic.

As for bragging rights, rock on!

But you might as well do some tri-screen 1440p at that level, or even maybe tri 4K.

vSphere Cluster - 72 Cores - 512GB Memory - 6TB SSD RAW - 42TB HDD RAW - vSphere 7

$2500 AUD cannot get you what you want, heck, the parts you've already selected barely make it under that. My build (in sig) cost about $2000 AUD, so you could maybe get a 980 and 4790k in that budget, but that doesn't include the screen.

Aftermarket 980Ti >= Fury X >= Reference 980Ti > Fury > 980 > 390X > 390 >= 970 380X > 380 >= 960 > 950 >= 370 > 750Ti = 360

How about you guys come up with a $2500 AU build (no peripherals)

this is the closest I can get however this build is ugly for this price point, runs on a stock cpu cooler and has to use corsair psu which won't be good enough for sli later on wait for the 980ti

<p>Wish I could have this already!! : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qTLRjX
