So I kind of just want to throw this in my system for a temporary increase in performance till I build my new pc. Only thing is I don't really know how to tell if they are compatible just based off of the information that is on the stick. I don't have any other information on them other than the pictures but if it is not enough I'll try searching for more information online. I would try to put it in myself but can't risk my computer breaking because they're too different to actually work. Oh and it's DDR2 if that maters, I have 2 of each stick so I'd be going from 1x4 to 2x4.

No, one is DDR2 and one is DDR3.

They have different notches so one of them won't fit.

How isn't the Hynix one?
