Hi, i'm planning on building a PC but since i'm only 13 years old i don't have a job, so the computer won't be built til next year, therefore i need to know if the parts might still be usebal for gaming next year.

Budget: Max pc + peripherals price would be about 12000NOK(norwegian kroner)

Parts: All bought from komplett.no a norwegian web page.

Case: Corsair carbide Air 540

CPU: Intel core i5-4460

PSU:Cooler master G650M 650W PSU

Motherboard: MSI H97 GAMING 3, socket-1150

Total price: 12362 NOK

What I need help with:

1. If theres anything i can change and still get the same performance out of it for a lower price.

2. If there is anything i can change because what i have choose sucks.

3. If this still can stay good for a fair amount of time, like 2-4 years in the future.

If you helped me I want to thank you in advance, take in account that alot of parts are more expensive in Norway than other countrys. Thanks for helping me  :)

For in the future you could upgrade your CPU and GPU so you can still play the AAA titles.

CPU: i7 4790k Devil's Canyon MOBO: G1.SNIPER | GPU: GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+ | CPU-COOLER: CM Hyper 212 EVO | RAM: G.Skill Sniper X 8GB

PSU: Corsair CX600 | CASE: Corsair 760T | MONITOR: Vizio 32in HDTV | HDD & SDD: Kingston 256GB SSD, Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD

Well if it won't be built till next year, it'd be a bad idea to pick out parts now.

For instance: Skylake will be out, Zen might be out (not sure on that one), the r9 300 series will be out, and you'll want to go with Win 10. So you can't really plan a build this far in advance.

With that said, if you did build it right now though, it'll definitely last. I'd change is that Kingston V300 though. Kingston pulled some shady business on that one. A BX100, an MX 200, or an 850 EVO will suit you much better. You could also downgrade the MOBO as you don't need a Z or H97, but it's not necessary at all. Everything looks to be in order though.

I don't do signatures.

use prisjakt.no to find better prices as komplett is often a bit overpriced

I have already tried that site but the problem is that now every shop has all the parts i want, and for it to be esayer i want to order everything from one site, i think that it will be komplett, and also the parts might drop in price in the future.'

yes what I'm thinking is that since i'm not building til last year i am gonna have a base for now and then i change it around later i just wanted to know if what i have set up for now will work, if i know this works it will be easyer to set up a new build later, cause then i know how evething works. But thank you for pointing out, I really appriciate it. :)

Np! :) Well it most certainly does work, that's for sure. It's a great idea to have a running log of parts to get, and once you have the money, spring the trap. The peripherals are more of a personal matter though, so I can't offer advice on them. I wouldn't spend too much on them though, except for the monitor. Definitely go IPS at all cost unless you really like your response times and are a professional gamer Lol.
