Project Taurus UPDATE!!!

a while back i posted my Taurus project and i'm glad to say that i've added some updates and the rig is complete now!

the specs:

 

case: nzxt switch 810

mobo: asus maximus v formula

cpu: intel i5 3570K

psu: corsair ax1200i

hdd: seagate barracuda 500gb

ssd: 2x samsung 840 120GB

gpu: asus gtx690 and gigabyte 690 (the asus one was sold out)

mouse: cyborg rat 7

keyboard: corsair K70

waterblocks, pump and radiators(a 360mm and a 140mm)  are from EKWB

monitor: 3x asus vh242H

 

i had some problems with windows in the beginning but i bought a new copy and there solved now, everything is working great

ran some benchmarks and the hottest i saw from cpu was 55 degrees and the gpu(second hottest) was 65degrees and that was in a room where it was around 28 degrees (at intake)

 

CPU  @4.2Ghz

GPU's  @ 1162Mhz and memory @ 6198Mhz

Wow that looks like a really nice gaming pc. The I also have asus 24in monitors in eyefinity! How do you like that case?

thanks. i like the switch, i may not be the prettiest case but its great for both water and air cooling. i like it to build in and you have lots of space.

Its a really nice build. The PSU is overkill in my opinion but other than that, great. One thing I'd point out is that a gtx 690 isn't really great for surround or high resolutions, due to the fact you're limited to having only 2gb of usable ram.

I've got a switch 810 sitting on my desk waiting to be built in. I'm going with an RoG black and red theme like you, but I'll be using a Maximus V Extreme and a smaller AX850 PSU, with 2 GTX 780's.
