Hi I am thinking of getting the intel 730 480gb ssd. Is it really worth paying a little bit extra for this ssd? Everyone Says it is great for reliability (including linus) but the problem I have is that it is not quite as fast as other ssd's in this price range and some that are lower priced are still slightly faster. So what do you think Should I go for it? and what is your opinion on the intel ssd's?

Thank you!

The perception of speed for SSDs for the most part is latency, not file transfer speeds.  You'll be fine, and outside of benchmarks you won't notice a single thing pertaining to a "slower" drive.

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.
