im about to purchase an msi gtx 970 gpu with ddr5 access, will i be able to connect ddr3 memory even tho its ddr5? heres my build

....? not quite sure what your asking the RAM is used by the cpu as a "deskspace" the video card has its own set of ram that is completely separate from the cpu which is much faster than your cpu ram

He probably means GDDR5, instead of DDR5
